- Hello, and welcome to my blog. My name is Allison Doke and from as far back as I can remember I have been drawing. It wasn't until I became an adult that I began to paint. I paint still-life, figurative, portraits, and landscapes. In recent years I have become more interested in painting plein air. When I'm not working as a flight attendant, I can be found searching for spots to paint near my home in Marietta, Ga.. My job affords me the opportunity to travel and paint in far away places.
